Kuwait Air Force ATC Training
On the 11 January 2010, four officers from the Kuwait Air Force commenced air traffic control training at the BAE Systems College, Cwmbran in the United Kingdom.
Prior to starting the ICAO Ab-initio, aerodrome and military area radar programme, Lt Mohammed Ben-Haider, Lt Humoud Al-Adwani, Lt Ahmad Al-Shimri and Lt Mohammad Al-Ahmad completed a 10 week advanced aviation and technical English course during the 2009 autumn term.
This comprehensive training provided the students with the knowledge and skills to operate effectively in an international aviation environment.
On successful completion of the course, the graduates will undertake on-the-job training at operational facilities in Kuwait.
