Elusion is a comprehensive, integrated Electronic Warfare training system for use at headquarters, bases and on front line squadrons.
The versatile system can be used for basic, advanced and continuation training in EW aspects of equipment re-programming, mission planning and development of operational tactics. Elusion is a well-proven training system developed and used at BAE Systems, BAE Systems Cwmbran Training College.
Universal Electronic Warfare Trainer (UNET)
Universal Electronic Warfare Trainer (UNET) will provide integrated facilities for the preparation, delivery and assessment of primary and secondary EW training for EW Operators and Controllers.
The initial training objectives are concerned with Emitter Analysis and ECM Deployment Fundamentals. Initial training is provided using Computer Based Training (CBT) courseware and allows students to undertake self paced learning of EW theory and practice. The CBT facility incorporates a Student Management System, which controls student progress through the syllabus, monitoring and recording student development.
The advanced training objectives are concerned with Procedures, Tactics and the EW Team Performance. Advance training takes the form of scenario driven tactical exercises, where EW Operator and Controller teams are presented with dynamic situations of varying complexities which run in real time. Students are provided with a variety of EW displays and several analysis tools.
The training can take place as individual, collective or adversarial exercises and are designed to sharpen individual skills and tactical decision making as well as improving communication and teamwork.
