UK ATC Courses Graduate

Students have recently graduated after successfully completing UK CAA Air Traffic Control courses.

On the 25th February 2010, ATC students from both around the United Kingdom and oversees territories graduated from the UK CAA Aerodrome Control Instrument (110) course.
 

Delegates from Humberside International Airport, Hawarden, Gibraltar and the BAE Systems airfield at Warton, together with attendees from within the EU completed the eight week aerodrome course using the high fidelity BAE Systems 3D Tower simulator.
 

The graduates have returned to their respective units to commence operational on-the-job training.
 

Also on the 25th February 2010, ATC students from some of the United Kingdom's busiest regional airports graduated from the eight week Approach Control Surveillance (110) course.
 

Delegates from Liverpool, Leeds Bradford, Isle of Man, Hawarden and Scatsta successfully completed their surveillance training using the BAE Systems Modular Airspace Synthetic Environment (MASE) simulator.
 

Some of the graduates have returned to their respective units to commence operational on-the-job training, while others have remained at the Cwmbran College to continue their training in other ATC disciplines.
 

On 12th Febraury 2010, ATC students on Approach Control Procedural (110) course graduated from the Cwmbran College. Delegates from Biggin Hill, Carlisle and Newquay Airports successfully completed their approach control training using the BAE Systems Modular Airspace Synthetic Environment (MASE) simulator.
